Music Is Much More Than Just a Sound...

What comes to your mind when you hear the word “music”? Probably, something greater than pure letters and even sounds.

It is a recollection... A recollection of your first breath of the sea, your first look at the sunset, the first book you cried on, your first steps to the adulthood...

Music is a flashback which has a power to turn all your ‘self’ back to the moment in your past while wandering through your present daily life.

Apart from scars and pain, music is the only unmistakable remnant of your story and the story of your predecessors. It is the combination of everything that added to what you’ve become. It is the starting point and the fight, the sound of despair and delight.

Music is opening to the world and its kind respond to your questions, worries, and thankfulness. It is the new people, memorable places, and life-changing acquaintances. It is the emerging friendship and the longing of a broken heart.

Music is empathy. It is noticing, perceiving and anticipating the hesitation of the other.

What is music to you? Is it the happiness that springs with you when you get flowers and kisses, or is it your only companion being there for you when you grieve?

You have music whenever you want. It is always in your heart and mind waiting for you to call it. Any time, wherever you are, always. It fills your cells and accompanies all your actions. Music is you and everyone else around.

There exist so many brilliant music quotes for a good reason. Make sure yourself:

“After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.” ― Aldous Huxley

“Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid.” ― Frank Zappa

“If you cannot teach me to fly, teach me to sing.” ― J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan

“Music is an agreeable harmony for the honor of God and the permissible delights of the soul.” ― Johann Sebastian Bach

“When you play, never mind who listens to you.” ― Robert Schumann

“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” ― Bob Marley

“The only truth is music.” ― Jack Kerouac

“When I hear music, I fear no danger. I am invulnerable. I see no foe. I am related to the earliest times, and to the latest.” - Henry David Thoreau

“This is what I want in Heaven: For words to become notes and conversations to be symphonies.” - Tina Turner

“You know what music is? God’s little reminder that there’s something else besides us in this universe, a harmonic connection between all living beings, everywhere, even the stars.” - Robin Williams
